The immediate feedback from the students was very good, everybody was very interested in the new developments in entrepreneurship, Business Model, Customer Development, and Lean Startup frameworks (more on these in the Building Blocks post).
And now it’s assignments time. We just distributed the assignments for next session. Hands-on assignments I mean! Participants are going to define their business idea, which pain does it solve and for whom. And test it by interviewing potential clients (but not “selling” anything to them!) Pure Customer Development style.
Additionally, again on the lines of Steve Blank, they are going to write down their Lessons Learned about their business idea. This Lessons Learned is going to be the first of a long series of real-life discoveries and learnings about their own business, which will make a difference when presenting their business (plan?) to VCs. See what Steve Blank students have been able to do with this approach here, here, here and here (that’s where you’re going to get to!)
Finally I’m looking forward to a small survey’s results about how they liked the class and what they learned. Shouldn’t take long, they are very quick!
