I met the founders of phiha.nl, a coffee company which decided to specialise in gourmet coffee. They made me try a coffee they sell which is produced from a particular plantation which yields 300 kg per year.
I then met the InnovateNL practice of CapGemini. They specialise in guiding companies out of muddy waters so to speak, with a comprehensive process for rapid change along the keywords Exploration – Innovation – Alignment in a process called Accelerated Solutions Environment. A catalyst of organizational innovation.
And finally I discovered that innovation in NL is not only business-related. Claire Boonsta is a successful startupper (I guess you know of layar.com) who is now guiding an innovation process in education, under the tag name Operation Education. Her objective is to change from the foundations the way education system works in the Netherlands and educate for Values not for Tests. Very ambitious project indeed! But she was able to assemble many people with the same objectives around her. I’m sure she’s going to make it!
